The Scale is Your Friend
I am honored to pop in and bring a bit of wisdom to your day... For most of us, the scale has been our enemy. It shows us the truth and what we don’t want to see or deal with. But in the TEID Lifestyle, the scale will become your friend, almost like a guide. Yes, it still reveals the truth of the choices you made the day before, but now you can use this to your advantage.
I want to encourage you to weigh yourself first thing each morning. I have done this for as long as I can remember. Always record your weight and the date. I have a small, hardbound lined journal that measures four by six inches. It is lime green and has these words written on the front, “Ooh la la.” I love it! This works for me, and I am going to have fun doing this. Come on, if we can’t find the fun in the simple things, we will surely miss it in the big things.
Let me elaborate a bit, because obviously when I say first thing in the morning... I have to include that I don’t know a single woman who would weigh in the morning before going to the bathroom. Right? I like to weigh in the morning after that visit. On a side note, without getting too personal, if ever you are struggling to stay regular you probably need to balance out your hydration, fats, and fiber (vegetables and fruit) just a little better.
